Founder and painter
Carl Plansky

searches the world over for the most beautiful raw materials to ensure that his colors exude the beauty and luminosity specific to the particular pigment.

Williamsburg Oil Paint Sets

Employing the techniques of 19th century French colormakers, Plansky's pigments are made in small batches, ensuring the ultimate in quality control.

Essential for glazing and wonderful in mixtures, these 6 transparent colors are rich, luminous pigments that produce clean tints and issue a sense of depth to mixes.

This set is a good place to start if you’re looking to expand the range of transparency in your paintings, or feel that your mixtures are too dull or heavy. Colors include of Alizarin Orange, Brown Pink, Italian Pink, Dutch Brown, Indian Yellow, and Stil de Grain. Tubes are 40 ml.
